Tho following contributed !- vocal and instrumental items to the prof grammo: —Miss E. Hufsthouso, Messrs. H. i- Atkinson, C. Grove, Hollis, Tombs, and s Campbell (Mamari). Miss Rothschild and if Mr. Sucall' acted as accompanists. Tho peri. formers wore accorded a hearty vote' of ,v thanks,' to which Mr. Powlos responded. r Over a hundred lads attended the weekly '- meeting of the Junior department of the o Y.M.C.A., held at tho rooms, last evening. -- The Religious Work Committoo 109k charge t of the meoting, under the leadership of Mr. |j 11. Johnson, who introduced the fonr boy speakers. Thoso made short speeches on the following subjects:— Erie Chartres, "Tho Bible class is tho best place for. young men;" Charlie Beaumont, "Why we attend horc on Thursday evonings;" E. Gibbons, "Why Iwo do not if raid the lliblo;" and E. Hiiyee, "What we ' liopo to do in our new building." ' Tho membership appears to increase gradually. Medals wore presniited to the gymnasium members as '". follow:—Albert Jordan, Senior Boys' Championship Medal; B. C.B. Mooro, second for the New t Boys' Chnmpionship Medal: E.
