CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
« Tho Wellington and Wairarapa Charitable Aid Board met yesterday morning, it being the first meeting of tho new Board. Present: Messrs. R. C. Kirk,\W. IT. Morrah, F. Cohen, D. M'Laren, R. Smith, W. C. Buchanan, and A." Coles. Mr. R. C. Kirk was re-elected Chairman, and, in reviewing the work of'tho Board during the past year, said' that most of tho business had been of a formal nature. The question of tho establishment of a dental hospital had come up for discussion, nnd was referred to the District Hospital Board. Messrs. M'Laren, Morrah, Murdoch, Coles, Smith, Cohen, and tho chairman were elected as au'-exccutive committee to deal with routine business. Mr. D. M'Laren was re-elected treasurer.
