iTlio Grand Opera Company's difficulties lrnvo not yet cuded (says a Melbourne paper of iN'ovembor 1G). Further trouble took place yestorday between Madame Sara Anderson and Mr. George Musgrove. Madame Anderson played on Thursday night, and was castl'or .Senta in ! "Tho Flying. Dutchman" hist evening. She stated that it was against the terms of her contract to sing in heavy parts two nights in succession. . She learned at 10.30 p.m. oil Thursday, that, she,'was. expected to sing in the part of Senta,. and .immediately informed.Mr. Musgror.e that her strength would' not.' .allow her to. .comply.' Despite this intimation she was advertised to sing. "Madame Anderson consulted her. .solicitor, who informed Mr. .Musgrove not. to count on Madame to play last night.. Mr. Musgrove replied that it. was .within the. conditions of her contract, and lie. expected her to sing. Madame Anderson's solicitor replied that'the contract provided'against performances on consecutive nights, and, requested that her name should he withdrawn' from last night's ciist. . Madame Anderson's part was played by Fraulien Bouche. Madame Anderson's contract expired yesterday, ami she.will not sing again'before she. leaves Melbourne.. . .
