FIRST ANNQAL SPORTS. The little fellow's attending Croydon Preparatory Scliuol have lolioived in ihe footsteps of their elders at the secondary colleges by holding' a sports meeting. The event to&K'place on Saturday, the sports ground being the luwn at Air. Ooates's residence in liulison Street. Messrs..A, S. Diss and Goring Johnston were the judges,, and ill'. J. G. Duncau acted as starter. Although hardly, a battlo of giants, the meeting, nevertheless, revealed some promising Sprinters and jumpers. The following are the results Long J ump."-I)oughty, Bl't: 9pn.
