CHURCH PROPERTY REPORT. . [by telegram.—press association.] Napier, November 27. At'the session of the Wellington District Synod of the Methodist Church to-day, it was decided' to -recommend tho conference to grant "permission to tho Wellington City Circuit to divide the circuit and to form a separate,.charge at Thorudon, and also to Erant'tbo application of the Trinity Church, Wellington, for an additional minister to work in the circuit.' •The South AVairarapa Circuit was again relieved of its obligation to provide for a minister. in full connection.:- . , A home missionary was applied for by tho Circuit, and this was also granted. •Ihe. South Wairarapa Circuit applied for a probationer to be placed, at Featherston. Tho'Synod having thoroughly discussed tho matter, granted the .application. Tho Synod recommended that the conference. place a probationer at Norsewood next year; It was unanimously recommended that tho question of placing an agent at Waipukurau be: pu't : before tho Home Mission Executive for'immediate attention. Mr. .'Benbow presented the church property and schedules report. Tho report revealed the fact that in the district tho Church holds ninety-one sites, valued at £16,071 2s. sd. • forty-eight churches (8403 sittings), valued at £23,036 6s. Gd.; sixteen schools (3770 sittings), £6016 12s. 4d.; seventeen parsonages £8427 16s. Bd.; fifteen other, buildings' £6287; • giving a total value of £59,833 17s.' lid. It' was intimated that' Miss Flororice li. Thompson, of Napier, was. immediately proceeding to take up a position in the training institution at Übuia, New Guinea, as a missionary sister.
