Bloemfonlein, November 26. The following will form the first Ministry of tho Ornngo River Colony:—

Mr. Abraham Fischer, Premier and Colonial Secretary. General Hertzog, Attorney-Ceneral and Director of Education. Mr, Ramsbottom, Treasurer. Mr. C. H. Wessels, Minister for Works, Mines, and Lands. Mr. Christian De Wet, Minister for Agriculture,

The first session of tho new Parliament is sot down to commence oil December 19.

This Ministry, the second Boer Administration of South. Africa, follows naturally on tho recent sweeping majority gained at tho polls by tho Orangia Unie, which corresponds to tho Het Volk of tho Transvaal. Tho " Times" Bloemfontein correspondent, as recently quoted in this paper, admits that tho Unio's candidates represent " tho least violent section."

Tho Orange River Colony's first Premier, Abraham Fischer, was formerly a momber of tho Volksraad and of tho Executive Ilaad of tho Orange Freo State, and was President of tho Special Embassy of the two Republics. Ho is an advocate.

Cornells Wcssels was formerly President of the Free Stato delegates, and a momber of the Special Embassy. Christian Do Wot is, of course, tho great Boer General who fought tho British forces for so long. Ho ~ was ; formely Com-uiandant-Goneral of the Free. State Forces, and a member of. tho Orango Freo . Stato Volksraad for Boven, Modder River,

General Hertzog is another of tho old burghers. Speaking at Bloemfontoin tho other day, he oulogised tho generosity , of tho Imperial Government, which had bound all hearts in South Africa to the Empire.
