I In connection with the sale of the Wairarapa Lake i'orealiore by the Native Trustees to tho Government, it is interesting, to noto that it lias been su;.!;™csted that the Stato 'should devote the mirchase-money for the !further purchase of a school for dairy instruction for tho Native race, somewhere in central Wairarapa. Tho money availablo is said to ho about £5000, and the proposal will possibly bo considered by the Native Minister, the Minister for Lauds, and Mr. Henare l'arata, who is Chairman of the Trustees' Council. Our Wairarapa correspondent states that the matter is being earnestly ..advocated by Mr. Parata and other influential Native chiefs.
