STILL MORE MONEY FOR THE NAVY. A HEAVY BILL. 0T TELEGRAM—PRESS ASSOCIATION- COPYTOOHT. (Roc. Nov. 24, 4.30 p.m.) / Berlin, November 23. Tho " Kolniseho Volki Zeitung," commenting on the naval estimates, foresees supplemontary proposals in 1911 creating tho nucleus of a third double squadron. Paris, Novembor 23. "Lβ Matin" enumerates tho following indications of Germany's activity with regard to her armaments:— (1) The uninterrupted administration of tho Alsace-Lorraine railways in conjunction with tho German General Staff. (2) Tho construction of an immonso strategic station at Saarburg, • costing half a million sterling. (3) The widening of tho bridge over the river Saai- by seven metres (a little over 6i yards). (4) Tho enlarging of tho Rieding station. (5) Tho constructing of a now railway line from Saarburg to Diomeringon. Saarburg, in Lorraine, is close to tho frontier, and is served by the Saar Canal. It is some distance soutli of Saarbruek, tho scene ot the first engagement in the Franco-German War, at. which tho Germans retreated Diemcinsen is about fifteen miles north-east of Saarburg.
