DISTRICT HOSPITAL BOARD.
The final meeting of the present members of the Wellington District Hospital Board was held yesterday, thero being present Messrs. J. Godbei- (chairman). R. C. Kirk, R. B. Williams, M. Murdoch, E. Bould, and G. Frost. The monthly report of the Otaki Hospital for October snowed that 8 patients wore admitted, and 8 discharged. There are at pro-' sent 3 male and 5 female patients under treatment at the hospital. The report for the Otaki Sanatorium showed that 3 female patients had been admitted. One female patieut had been sent to tho Seddon Hospital, and ono died oil November 12. Thero aro at present in the institution 1G male and 8 female patients. Matters, both at the Hospital and at tho Sanatorium, were reported to be satisfactory. Reference was made to the inadequacy of tho fire-hose and water supply. . During the discussion on the reports, tho chairniau remarked that the institutions were being run on a sound economical basis. Ac-' counts amounting to ,£2031 Is. sd. wcro passed for payment.
