Mr. Knssncr, IJ.R.G.S., is starting during October on a two years' expedition m Central Africa in quest of rubber, precious and base metals, and geological and zoological specimens. He proposes to explore the mountains west of the Great Lakes, malting oxtonsivt; investigations to tho west of Lake Tanganyika.
