On Friday ho was suffering from incessant vomiting and collapse, and he died on Saturday morning. Fifty hours elapsed between tbo taking of the fish and the symptoms of bacteria! jntestinal infection. Dr. Roberts, who mailo the post mortem, said; there was only a remote possibility of connection • between the taking of the tinned fish and' the cause of death, as the period intervening was too long. Death was duo to bacterial intestinal infection, but it was difficult to assign the cause.
