WEDNESDAY. Sago Soup. Beef Steak and Kidney Pudding. Mashed Potatoes. Baked Rhubarb and Junket. Stewart Pudding. STEWART PUDDING. Method.—Line a pie-dish with pastry, and put lOoz. of- bread crumbs into a large basin: Grate the yellow part off a lemon and add it to the crumbs. .The juice of the lemon is used to make a sauce for the pudding by boiling it with sugar and water, and thickening it with| cornflour. Pour on to the bread crumbs two pints of boiling milk or milk and water. Beat into this three or four eggs and-a / Jib. of sugar.' Let the mixture cool a little, and then pour it into the prepared dish.
