The President announcos that tho leaders of Congress rvTO considering a currency measure to permanently meet tho needs of the situation. It is oxpected to pnse early in tho session, which will open in a fortnight. London, November 19. Tho "Standard" says .that Mr. Cortelyou's plan, bnckod by President Roosovclt's letter, has cased the New York market, and further confidence is shown.
