The feature of the Courtenay A. and P. Show, a little affair confined largely to the Xirwoe district, some twenty miles west ot Christchurch, was the remarkable entry of fat lambs. They numbered altogether 235 more, it is believed, than at any show in Now Zealand, if not in Australasia, and the quality all round was splendid, the worst pen being described' as superior to anything seen at the Christchurch Show.
