BROWN PUDDING. I Ingredients.—loz. chopped suet, 3oz. flour, 1 ■ egg, 2oz. treacle, J-teaspoonful soda, 1 teaspoonfur cream of tartar, lemon flavouring. Method.—Mix the cream of tartar with the soda, and thon mix it well with the flour. Mix all the dry ingredients together, and then beat all the moist ingredients and lemon fla-vouring-together. Butter a pudding mould, mix all this ingredients together, and then put them into thov,riiould. Cover the mould with. a bnttered paper, and strain it for three honrs. Serve it with raisin or with raspberry BanCe ' RASPBERRY SAUCE. Ingredients.—2oz. jam, 1 lemon, loz. sugar, J-pint wator. . Method.—Put the jam, lemon juice water, and'sugar into a small saucepan; stir until it boils, then simmer for ten minutes. Thicken it with half a teaspoon ful of cornflour. Let it boil np; then strain round the pudding. FOR TO-MORROW. _ Ingrediente.—Peas, stew the ox-tail until it is. soft, onions, carrots, turnips, rhubarb.
