Committee of.the Institute of Surveyors waa considered and generally approved. It was decided to .write to this effect,to CHairman of the Native Affairs Committee, ~ sug- '-. gesting. that the Committee should take the , advice 1 of the Surveyor-General' (who-had 'a , thorough knowledge of existing regulations and their defects), with -regard to- the 're-' commendations embodied in ''the', circular;
