BENEVOLENT TRUSTEES.
, IThe weekly meeting of the Benevolent Trustees was held yesterday afternoon, there being ' present':—Rev. W.lA.'EVahs;(Chair-' man), Mrs. Darvall,- Messrs. A."'W.' : Hog'g, M.H.R., J. Wakehatii, J. Smith, D. Robertsoil, aiid CK London. The district visitor (Miss Kirk), and tho',''secretary I ;(Mr.'"AV;'H,: Triiebridge), were also in attendance. ' It'was decided"that Monday, November 11; should be observed as the King's Birthday at the Ohiro Home. 1 •
'fho secretary reported that there were 71 'male and 30 fomole inmates at the Home, as against 103 on October '29. One man had since been,admitted, and 3 inmates .(2 males and 1' female) liad been discharged. Twelve applications which , had been received for the position of- treasurer to the trustees were then considered in committee.
On resuming, tho Board unanimously adopted . the .committee's recommendation that Mr. : A. J. Petheriek be appointed.' : The' question of tho general administration of the institution,- and' the specific authority of tho executive officers, was referred to a sub-committee, consisting of the Chairman (Rev. W. A. Evans); Messrs. D, Robertson and G. London, for n report, v. 'Accounts amounting to £12 6s. Bd. were, passed for payment-. ~ 'Several applications for relief were then dealt with. ;
