Private atlviqos have been received in Auckland, says- tho "Herald," by cable notifying the death of two of the members of the company of Lovpll and Christmas, Limited, of London. Mr. Alfred Christmas died last Sunday weisk, and his brother, Mr. Josiali Christmas, the next day. For many years both gentlemen were actively engaged in the management of tho Lovell and Christmas business, but in July last Mr. Alfred Christmas found it necessary to retire from the company's directorate owing to illhealth. Both gentlemen had many friends in the Dominion, owing to busineso connections. /
