Sales are reported to have been made on the basis of (is. f.0.b., but!there is now apparently very little' in farmers hands, and the transactions are merely nominal. The oat market continues strong and' late rates are fully maintained, but the volume of business passing is now very small. The potato market has gained in firmness during tho week and sales are reported as high as £8 for Un-to-dates, and £8 10s. for Dorwonts. Thoro has been some speculative enquiry for grass seed, and holders have taken advantage of this to realise their stocks.
