Two members of the Union Boating Club, Wnrigaiiui, collided in scullers on Sunday, with tho result, says the "Chronicle," that the bow of one boat penetrated about threo inches into the hip of the sculler in the other. The injured "man was towed aslioro, and no sorious results are feared. A prominent resident of Inglewood, Mr. T. Bridguman, having disappeared from his usual haunts, a search party was sent out. The '"Record" says they found him at tho Radius lino, reclining by a dead tree, well, but exhausted,, having had ho food. Ho was carried to his homo, and as be still refused food and his exhaustion was increasing, he •was sent into the New Plymouth Hospital on MoucU.it.
