The. certificates were intended •to'fbster'.onduranco rather than speed, and from the interest.shown by the boys, it was ■ confidently; exported that in future seasons the. number, would bo greatly increased. Thanks wero due to Messrs.. Somervillo, A. "W.- Smith: and T. j Shields for tho timo and instruction-given to the boys.! The council of tho N.Z.A.S.A. haying .takon over tho administration of tho Humane Uranch, tho Centre's-sharp :of the .available funds placed it in a strong position to'carry but that most . necessary work. -The showed a credit balance of £7 16s.
