On different occasions iiotajilo women- in other parts of the Empire have cheerfiily responded to invitations made by the authorities of St. John to collect funds from the public, and' among those who some time ago took similar action in London wore the Marchioness of Twecddale, the Countess ;of Yarborough, Lady Victoria Grenfell, Vi-i, countess Maitland, and Lady Pen'ott. Hero, in Wellington, the wife of our Chief Magis-, trato is associated with the Ambulance Saturday movement, and tho Committee'invite, another hundred ladies to co-operate with Mrs. Hislop in the direction indicated.; The secretary.
