Gleneulloch, who has apparently recovered from tho accident, did "two circuits at three-quarter speed. Sister Anne beat Guidwifc by eight lengths ovur six furlongs. ' x Lapland and Outlander did a mile and a half in 2min. 42 2-ssec., and Piaitutu, Elevation, Mahuta, and Astrakhan a mile and a half in 2min. 39-isec. Elevation finished best, but Paritutu was nearly as good. Mahuta is apparently going off. Bnccleuch, who has struck himself, ran ten fcrlongs at restricted speed. Idealist went six/ furlongs, easing up, in lmin. 17 1-osec: 'fhe gallop was a pleasing one. .Master Delaval, Zimmerman, and Probable did a mile and a half in 2niin. 41 4-ssec, and finished abreast, but Master Delaval was going, much the best, and could easily have Tboaten the others, whose display was - not . impressive. St. Joe, Apa, and Frisco van a mile in 2min. 12 2-osee., St. Joe beatiug Apa by a neck in a creditable performance. Gazelcy Armistice, Maniapoto, Grand Slam, and Koran went a mile and a half in 2min. 42 3-osec. Gazelcy, full of running, finished two lengths in front of Grand Slam, Koran being next, and Helen Portland last, under a, strong pull. Gazeley's performance was very pleasing. Bonny Glen only walked, and sbows signs of soreness. There was nothing exceptional in the two-year-old work. Hod Gauntlet 'ran- five furlongs in lmin. 4 5-5 sec.
The latest Cup betting is 3 to 1 Master Dclaval, 5 to lApa and Elevation, S to 1 Paritutu Zimmerman, and Miihuta, 10 to 1 Armistice, 14 to 1 Bucclcuch,, 16 to 1 'Friiico and Probable, 20 to 1 v Gazcley-, Waivapu, and Man.iapoto, 25 to 1 Grand Slam, "Lapland,- Astrakhan," and, St. Joe, 50 to 1 Saga and Outlander. After to-day's work Master Delaval and Munjoct are the favourite combination for tho Cup and Stewards' Handicap. The best price available is 15 to 1.
