ANOTHER VIEW. In tlio evening paper Mr. J. , L. Young, who has just returned from. Papeete, denit. that the public at Tahiti arc in a sv-atc of latent insiiiTectioli, and that tlio country is on the verge of ruin.- On tho contrary, he says, Tahiti is fast recovering from tha injury caused .by tlio. cyclonic storm pf 190G:— of which proof exists in the returns of imports and 'exports:—and the . Administration is, he declares,, anxious at all times to increase' ihe_ prosperity of the place and always welcomes any attempt at progress.as \iat been markedly shown by receiit events. :
