An Indian pntive paper reports that a Shan was unrated at Rangoon recently ivitli a. couple of dead ducks and a hen in his possession. He was dressed as a Mohammedan; a Hindu, a Burman, and a Chinaman, so that by throwing off successive layers ho could transform himself into any one character of the four in a few seconds.
