For Mr. Biddio's vacant directorship of tho Eltham Dairy Factory, tho shareholders have nominated Messrs. F. W. Corbett and Sauhderson. The election rests with the' directors. A heavy milk waggon,, driven through a flock- of sheep near Opunaki! recently, wont over a ewe and killed .it. Aftor referring ,to tho difficulty experienced in getting good milkers at 325.'6 d. a week, the "Eltham Argus" observes that " milking machines ' and tho settlors' own families will do the milking in the'near future,. and ' wanted, a milker,' will bo a thing of the past." , ■■". ■•.;■'.
