Dr. Jennio B. Morill, supervisor of kindergartens m the public schools of Now York, suggested many wdys, at a meotinp- of tho Mother's Club at tho Waldorf Astoria in which parents could co-operate with tlio kindergarten. A few animals should be put in each of tho small parks, so that tho children can see them. Parents can supplement tho animal plays of tho kindergarten at homo. Plonty of materials for drawing and painting should be given to children, not a little bii- . paper and a hard pencil, but a large sheet of paper and a good thick crayon. Children «o tlioir talking with brushes and pencils. Don't let them be afraid to have scissors if the points are blunt, ami don't think that a sand pilo is an impossibility in a city homo. A sand pile seems to solve all the troubles some parents have with their children. Garden privileges should be given them, and they should not be kept out of the kitchon. Especially should all children be allowed to tako part in Christmas'preparations.
