Y.W.C.A. BAZAAR.
The,'bazaar hold in St. John's Schoolroom, Dixon Street, in aid of-tho funds of the Y.W.C.A. was opened by Lady Plunket yesterday afternoon in the presenco of a largo number of ladies.' Among those present were Lady Stout, Mrs. "Wallis, Mrs. Hislop, and members of the committee-of tho Y.W.C.A. The special object of tho bazaar is to raise money for the furnishing of tho new home which tho Y.W.C.A. hopes shortly to possess, and the work for the bazaar, which has been done chiefly by the girls themselves, reflects great credit on; the workers. Tho hall was: prettily decorated with 1 greenery and flowers, and the-various stalls were very attractively'arranged. A special attraction-wa3 the stall ■of hand-made lace, which had come from'lndia. The stall-holders were:— Confectionery stall, Misses Webster (2), Chapman, and Sister Lilian; Christmas treo, Misses Chick and Milno; cake stall, Miss Gibb; flower stall, Misses Luke and Cathie; fancy stall, Missos Svenson and Pegg; cushion stall, Misses Dick, Arthur, and M'Lean; hand-made laco, Mrs. M'Clay; produce stall, Misses Ogburn (2), M'Lure. and Quintal; maypole (dolls), .Miss R. Webster; afternoon tea, 'Misses Glasgow, - Webster, lleith, Chapman, and. M'Lean. . ,
