The cheese exported last year from N<>v Zealand fetclied .au average of a small frac tion Jess than Gd. per pound. The actua figures aro 5.94Gd. per lb., or £2 15s. 6sd per cwt. The report foreshadow! legislation to control the manufacture o private dairy-made butter, the quality o which has been unsatisfactory.
