The famous Shah' Suza diamond, which fa> stated to be worth from £25,000 to £30,000, has been bought by tho Ameer of Afghanistan from tho descendants of the Shah Suza for £3300u. The stono is at present deposited ia, the Rawalpindi Treasury, but the'lndian Gov-. eminent have agreed to. hand it over to' the Ameer when.the various claimants"give him loiters of. administration. .
