Tho final for tho Junior Hockey Championship was played at Day's Bay, on Saturday, between Y.itLC.A. and Wesley teams, who had tied for first place this' season.: The ground was in perfect condition, a . fast, exciting game resulting. Wesley team .rondo a fatal mistake in adopting the defence of playing a five.eighths man instead of' a goalkeeper. Against an exceptionally fast lino of forwards such' as tho, Y.M.C.A. it was not surprising that they should loso by 6 goals to 1. A. Parton (4), R. Parton (1), and Good (1) scorcd for the winners, whilst Dickson smartly hit in a goal from a bully in the circle for the losers. The Y.M.C.A. team, who only, lost last year's championship by one point, will, ao doubt, bo. called upon to play senior hockey nest season.
