A Press Association telegram from Gisbornc states: — The barque Kazsluraig, which put into Gioborne yesterday, in leaky condition, was surveyed to-day by Lloyds representative, on behalf rf the owner. It was decided to discharge two hundred tons of si'.nd ballast, so that the extent of the damage may be ascertained, it' will probably be necessary to send the ves.se to Auckland for docking. The! THE AYMERIC. The Union. Company's chartered steamer Aymeric arrived yesterday morning from Newcastle. Pratieue was granted, and she berthed at the Glasgow Wharf. The total cargo in 6200 tons. There are 2000 tons for Wellington, .consigned to Mr. Thomas Brown, whose agent here is Mr. E. 11. barber, of Victoria Street. On discharging here, the vessel proceeds to Lyttclton and Timaru with balance of cargo. From the latter port she proceeds to Auckland to load for San Francisco untier the auspices of the Weir Line. The Government steamer Tutunrkni leaves port, next Monday with pro-.-mms and lighthouse stores for the Cook Strait litrht houses. Amongst those lo be visited are The Brothers, Stephen's Island, Farewell Spit,' French Pass, Oape Cam joell, Palliscr, and Pencarrow.
