Arrangements arc about completed for the First Annual Athletic Field Meeting of the Hoys' Institute, which will be hold on the Hockey Grounds, Miramnr, on Labour Day. Tiio programme will consist of races, tests of skill and endurance, tugs-of-wnr. etc., for all.- grades of boys. Valuable 'trophies and prizes have been donated for the day. The main feature will be the three-guinea Institute Trophy, which will bo given to the lad scoring the greatest number of points during the day. This trophy has been presented by Dr. Clmppel. and must be won three years in succession to he held pci'inajic-ntly. There will also be a cricket match between the Wednesday and Saturday tennis of Hie Institute, and altogether tho boys aro expecting a sraud time.
