Ther^ 1 would appear to bo somo mysterious diseaso affecting cattlo in tho Ilawera district. ■ Tho Auroa corespondent of the "Star" says:— Mr. T. Harvey lost two good cows last week in -the one day, and is quite nt, a loss to know tho causo of death. Tho cows seem to stagger and fall, and that is the feud of them, with apparently littlo suffering. Mr. Harvo.v is not' tho only one, oither; nearly every herd is lessened by ono or two, and it would bo a boon to farmers if tho Stock Inspectors would tako tho matter up and investigate.
