In 1854; a wool-shed at Cunnamulla, in tho County of Wellington, Queensland, and situated on tho bank of tho Warrego River, was destroyed by fire. Incendiarism was suspected, but the guilty person was not detected. The man referred to in tho cablegram was arrested at Glen Innes, a town in New South Wales. Not only has he confessed to having committed the crime, but has also volunteered, theghastly information that. in order to escape detection ho murdered a man who was wanted as r. witness in connection with the burning of the shed, and who mysteriously disappeared.
