SHOW JUDGES. '. Tho following judges havo been appointed for tho Wairarapa P. and A. Society's annual show (writes our correspondent) : — Jumping and light horses—Messrs. It. H. Aldworth, Rangitikei, and J. R. Macdonald, Levin; draughts, Mr. A. Alexander, Normanby; shorthorns, Mr. R. Hay, Christchurcli ; Jerseys, Mr. E. 1). M'Lennan, Papakura; Ayrshires, Mr. A. Gibbs, Nelson ; milkers, Mr. W. Fuge, Fcathcrston; fat cattle and fat shoep, Sir. W- Clarkson, Featherston; Lincolns and Loiccsters, Mr. W. Wilson, Wanganui; Romneys, Mr. R. Tanner, Longburn; Downs, Air. Overton, Fendalton; pigs, Mr. R. Charmley, Papatawa; dogs, Mr. P. . Hunter, Hawko's Bay. Mr. J. Currie, of Wellington, has been asked to act as judge in tho poultry class,, but hp has not yet accepted tho position. | Produce," Mv. Tho Department of Agriculture lias refused to allow any members of its staff to act as judges of produce at tho forthcoming Wairarapa A. and P. show. It. is stated that tho reason is that members of the Department of Agriculture have not onough timo to give to tho work. General regret is expressed at tho inability] of tho staff to be represented officially at the show. . .. ~
