HEAVY WEATHER. Shipping is being largely aflected on the West Coast and Onehunga by westerly gales. Tho Takapuna was unahle to cross tho bar at Onehunga yesterday, and is announced to sail at 9 o'clock this morning. The Northern Company's Rarawa was to have left on Thursday, but adverse conditions prevented hor doing ;o. The Mapourilia's trip to Grcymouth has been abandoned, and she is expected to lenvo Westport at 12 p.m. Saturday for Vt r n]lingf.on. The departure of the Rosamond from Grcymouth is uncertain, owing to weather conditions.. The Euia at Wanganui, and Queen of the South at Foston, aro both bar-bound. The Himitangi whirh left Wellington for Greymouth on the 2-ith is probably sheltering, as there is no word of her arrival out;sido Grcymouth.
