Mr. F: MacFarlane, -who was ap-; pointed to. represent the Otago P. and A. Society at the annual conference of tho National Sheepbrecders' Association hold at Lincoln, England, on Juno 24, has written to 'the Society, ' pointing out that while the majority of tho British colonies wore doing good . work in exhibiting samples of pastoral, agricultural and mineral resources, and their colonial representatives wore also busy answering' questions, tho Dominion' of■ Now Zealand was practically riot represented. Tho .Otago P. and A. Society has taken action in the matter, and has issued a circular asking for tho co-operation _ of the various A. and P. Associations, in order to induce tho New Zealand Government to inaugurate proper representation of tho Dominion at all A. and P. shows held in Great Britain. The Wairarapa A,, mid P. Society has decided to accord-the proposal its heartiest support.
