Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme' shall be final. ° No person shall lie allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme, post entry md trotting races excepted, unless the latter be qualified as the bona fide property of a subscriber )f not less than L2 2s. to the race fund. Entries will be received by the Secretary before 8 p.m. on the 27th December, entrance money inclosed, with name, age, and pedigree (if any) of the horse, name of tlie owner, and colours of die rider. Morses to lie handicapped by the Stewards. Any ]!>ckey riding except in the colours entered will be fined L.2. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. The Cromwell Jockey Club Hides will be strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest must deposit L.2, and should such bo deemed frivolous by the 1 stewards, the amount will be forfeited.
