Money.—Mr Johnston appeared 'for 'plaintiff, and asked for an adjournment, 'plaintiff having met with an accident whereby Ihis 'leg was broken The case was accordingly .-adjourned until 15th January. M'Nulty v. M'Nulty.— This was an adjourned «:ase, , ; in which plaintiff (the son) claimed £2O, to'have been borrowed by defendant (the J fatheV). | Mr Johnston for plaintiff; Mr Wilson for defendant. Thp case had been adjourned for the production, /for the defence, of defendant's wife, in •whose presence defendant declared he had paid •over £8 to'his son, part of the money borrowed. Mrs M'Nulty was now put in the witness-box, ;and corroborated the defendant's previous evi•dence. The Magistrate thouglrt the evidence was sstrong enough to lead him to believe that the {father's statement, that he had handed over the fS'toliis son, was true, and he would therefore •give a verdict for £l2 and the costs of Court •drily.!
