• TTriday, November 27,1874. ((Btfove W. Lawrence Simpson, Esq., R.M.) •CIVIL GASES.. M'jKeiina v. Money.—Mr Johnston appeared 'for 'plaintiff, and asked for an adjournment, 'plaintiff having met with an accident whereby Ihis 'leg was broken The case was accordingly .-adjourned until 15th January. M'Nulty v. M'Nulty.— This was an adjourned «:ase, , ; in which plaintiff (the son) claimed £2O, to'have been borrowed by defendant (the J fatheV). | Mr Johnston for plaintiff; Mr Wilson for defendant. Thp case had been adjourned for the production, /for the defence, of defendant's wife, in •whose presence defendant declared he had paid •over £8 to'his son, part of the money borrowed. Mrs M'Nulty was now put in the witness-box, ;and corroborated the defendant's previous evi•dence. The Magistrate thouglrt the evidence was sstrong enough to lead him to believe that the {father's statement, that he had handed over the fS'toliis son, was true, and he would therefore •give a verdict for £l2 and the costs of Court •drily.!
