With the view of improving the sanitary condition of the Town, the Citizens are hereby recommended to fill up their present Closet 3 by putting therein Quicklime, and filling up with earth or sand. The use of Earth Closets is also recommended, and, as will be seen by advertisement, is proposed to be made peremptory. Quicklime for the above-named purpose can be had on application to the Town Clerk, who will also be provided in a few days with Chloride of Lime for disinfecting purposes.
