PROVISIONAL DIRECTORS. t : »Mr 'Shomas Hazlett Mr G. M, Starkey Mr G. T. Stephenson Mr 1). A, Jolly. ■ J . • SECRETARY. ", Charles Colclough. ■ , BANKERS. Bank of New South Wales, Cromwell. Tlie present proprietor of the claim desires to allow the public to participate in this, one of the few good mining properties in the district, and proposes to accept 1500 fully paid-up shares, and £6OO cash for the propei ty. Should the full number of shares not be taken ■up upon a date to be fixed by the Provisional Directors, the moneys paid on application will bo returned, less five per cent, for expenses. The sum to' be paid to the proprietor will ah-1 sorb eight shillings per share, leaving two shillings to pay wages, etc., which will he charged as against the new company from Ist February, 1874. " A considerable quantity of stone, (over 700 tons,) has been raised and crushed, which has averaged over one ounce per ion, and as greater depths are reached the stone gives evidence of increasing richness. . Two shafts have been sunk from the upper levels to the water level (about eighty feet), and the tunnel now in course of construction will not only drain the workings to s depth of 450 feet, hut will open out an extensile field of payable quartz, capable of keeping the company crushing continuously for years. _ The tunnel is one hundred and forty feet into
the ground at present, and die reef may he met j at any moment; in which ca-e the probability j would be that no further calls would require to "he made by the Directors. If any are required, they will bo made not to exceed Is 6d per share ■per month. Four hundred and fifty fact in length of reef at present exists under f*ot in the Workings, 'proving that an extensive mine only wants development. Applications for information and shares can be made to auv of the Provisional Directors ; to Mr W. 0. Ball., broker, Dunedin ; or to the undpwgned. CRA& CCtIiOLODGII. „,• ■ fcacwUiy put tem. •-
