We clip the following from the Tuapcka Times. , It is evident that the age of bunkum has not yet been passed by New Zealanders. It says “Mr Henry Clayfield, tinsmith, has been appointed tinsmith to his Excellency Sir James r.wgnsson. .Mr Clayfield is now a resident of Invercargill, and it seems did some work for his Excellency during his visit to that city which gave him great satisfaction. As a reward for bh skill, Mr Clayfield, who is not unknown to t-ho ihhibitauts of Lawrence, has received the appointment above mentioned.’’
