Friday, 9.36 a.m. The Alhambra arrived at the Bluff yesterday at 5 p.m. A London telegram, dated January 24, announces the death of Dr Livingstone, the great explorer, in June last, at Lake Bemba. He died from dysentery, by which he Was attacked after wading through water for four days. The body was preserved in salt by his native attendants, who proceeded to Zanzibar. Doubts were thrown on the authenticity of the report at the meeting of the Royal Society, but the English Government subsequently received a confirmatory, telegram.
