There Were present: The Mayor (Mr Dawkins), and Councillors Shahly, Hayes, Pierce, and Jolly. The minutes of last meeting having been read, were, confirmed, , j The inward and outward correspondence was read. The outward consisted of a letter from the Council and the citizens to the Undet-Secretary, in re the appointment of the Mayor as a Justice of the Peace, AUDITORS’ REPOET. The auditors’ report (which is published in another place) was then read, and received. It shows a balance in the Bank of New South Wales to the credit of the Corporation, on the 2nd January, 1874, of £427 2a. It was ordered to be printed. >F . ' TENDERS. Tenders were received from. Mr R, B. Dagg, and from Messrs Trwnson and Donegan, for making and laying the boxes and pipes as ordered lately by the 1 Council. R. E. Dagg’a tender, £59 155.; Tionson and Donegan, £B7 15s. The tendier of Mr R. E. Dagg was ac- 1 cepted. ACCOUNT. An account from Mr F. J. Wilson,■ solid-' tor, was then received, and passed for payment ; amount, £9 9s. The usual vote of thanks to the chair concluded the proceedings.
