♦ ——— Friday, December 19, 1873. (lief-irn W. Lawrence. Simpson, Esq. , JR. M.) William Shears urns charged with drunken* ness. A fine of 5s was imposed : failing payment of whioh, twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. A hawker’s-license was granted to Reuben Isaacs. Kem Yung Fong’s application for a wholesale license was granted The grant was actually a renewal of an old license. _ R. E. Dagg’s application for a temporary license at the race-course was granted. CIVIL CASKS. A. Ritchie v. Martin Wilson.— niaim £ls 13s. Bd. The accounts not haying been rendered in detail, plaintiff was non-suited. W. FT. Whettrr v. Smvthies,— Claim £3 9s. 6d. Debt was acknowledged. Judgment was given for amount, and costs. Scott v. Piiillipi. —The Magistrate in this case gave judgment that the question of title to the ground having been raised, he had no jurisdiction. He cautioned Phillipi, however, from interfering with the crops, as he might have power over the ground as a Warden.
