[from otjb own correspondent.] DUKEDIK Tuesday, 0 jurm The coming into operation of Bradshaw'3 Factory Act had the effect of giving all the girls employed in City drapery work-rooms half-holiday on Saturday. The last sitting of Duiiedhl Mayor's Court was held yesterday. The OtagO arrived from Glasgow on Saturday ; she brings about 120 immigrants and passengers, Mr E, B. Cargill being among the number. Mr John Cavalier, Well knowii iti the City, ran a nail into his foot about a fortnight ago, and died on Saturday from lock-jaw. Lady Ferguson was delivered of a son on Sunday afternoon. It died the sortie evening. Mr Vogcl has been ordered by his medical adviser to cease work.
