Friday, October 3. (Before, IF, Lawrence Simpson, Esq. , Warden.) APPLICATIONS. Cancellation of Certificate.— ft. E. Dagg and another applied for the cancellation of certilicate 2875 held by Goodger and party, for ground at Adams’s gully, Bannockburn. Application was withdrawn by plaintiffs. Extended Claims, Lawrence Williamson and another, two acres in Bailey’s gully : granted.— Chas. M‘Kenna, one acre in same gully: granted. —D. Taggart, one acre near Hatter’s gully : granted.—J. M‘Cabo’s application for one acre in Bailey’s gully was objected to by Bailey. Hearing adjourned till October 10.—The applications of Ah Chow and four others, and Ah How and four others, for five acres for each party, at Moonlight oreek, were also adjourned till October 10. Tail Races. —Ah Chow and four others, tailrace in Moonlight creek 100 yards long : adjourned till October 10.—Goodger and another's application for tail-race 500 feet long in Adams’s gully, was objected to by A. Wood. Hearing was adjourned till 24th October. Water Races. —Philip O’Reilly and five others, nine sluice-heads from Kirtleburn : granted, with the condition that applicants take the responsibility of any damage done by sludge sent into the Kirtleburn.—Philip O’Pieilly and five others, six sluice-heads from Moonlight creek : granted, there being no objections.— Ah How and four others, four sluice-heads from Moonlight creek : adjourned till 10th October, there being no appearance for applicants.—John Werner and another, one sluice-head from Annisfield creek : granted.—G. W. Goodger and another, one sluice-head from their main race : objected to by Dagg and party, and by J. L. Moore, and adjourned till 24th October.—A. Wood’s application for one sluice-head from old dam in Adams’s gully was withdrawn. Residence Areas. —Andrew Britten, one acre at Shepherd’s creek : granted.

The Quartz Reef Point applications were again adjourned.
