Mr Thatcher is described in the report of the Court ate a collector of fossils, shells, and curios, a recent arrival in Hong Kong, buftg well known in Australia and the Colonies. Tliaj "inimitable" had paid 3 dol. into Court, and disputed the remaining 4 dol. When the case was likely to turn against him, he applied foj an adjournment, which the Court refused, and ave judgment for the plaintiff*
