Intimation is hereby made that it is the intention of the Government to deviate the present track and surveyed road-line leading from Lowburn to Kawarau Gorge across the Cromwell Racecourse Reserve, (section 17, block 111., Cromwell district,) commencing at the point where the road cuts the South-East survey boundary-line of said Reserve ; and to carry the road along the said South-East survey boundaryline of said Reserve to its South end, and hence in a South-Westerly direction to Kawarau Gorge. It is therefore notified that from and after the Ist October next, that portion of the track and surveyed line of road leading from Lowburn to Kawarau Gorge which crosses section 17, block 111., (Cromwe'l district,) of Racecourse Reserve, will be closed.
